DITCH THE

OVERWHELM

→  You’ve been initiated! and are experiencing the biochemical, hormonal, and spiritual processes we call perimenopause.

→ It’s wrecked your confidence and hijacked your body and mind. Your ovaries are sputtering, and your brain is foggy. Memory lapses are for REAL.

→ Middle age is showing, around your middle. You’re tired but can’t sleep. Sex? Nah. BUT, punching everyone in the face seems like a good idea! So does getting a PhD!

→ Tingling? Itchiness? Palpitations? UTIs & incontinence? Vaginal dryness? Joint pain? Negative changes in your lipid panel? Pre-Diabetes? … You want to know what the FAAARK is going on.

“THIS IS EXACTLY WHERE I WAS. AND I BUILT THE MANUAL I WISH I HAD.” -SHAE

“CONSIDER YOUR 40S THE MAGIC DECADE. THE DECADE THAT CAN GIVE YOU THE MOST LEVERAGE WHEN IT COMES TO HEALTHSPAN, EVEN JOYSPAN, IF YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT.”

Life hits differently after your reproductive years. Most women enter this season unprepared. If you’re one of these women, you may be asking, “Where’s the manual on how to do this?” I mean, nobody told you about the menopause appetizer—the time when hormones would be changing as rapidly as they did in middle school, the time when your brain shifts from running on gas, let’s say, to running on electricity. You didn’t realize wetting the bed would become a thing again or that you would grow whiskers!

Midlife for women is a time of significant transition and change, often marked by shifts in metabolic function due to fluctuating and falling hormones. This stage presents unique health challenges, including potential increases in cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, and certain cancers, as well as psychological changes related to work, family, and relationships. However, midlife can also be a time of growth and empowerment, with opportunities to focus on personal well-being and proactively manage your lifespan for a healthful, more joyful life.
